I am often asked what my favorite car is? Or if I could keep only one which one would it be. Well this Supersnake is it. Finally a car that exceeds the hype. It was built and designed by car nuts for car nuts. Quite frankly its the most fun car I have ever driven, and I have owned or driven most every performance car built in the last 50 years.

To start off with the Shelby factory has increased the HP to 725 with the help of a new polished Kenne Bell supercharger. A stock Supersnake running 93 octane gas recently ran a 10.87 at 134 MPH for the editor of the magazine "Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords". The power comes on immediately and modulating the throttle takes some skill and patience. To stop all this power they added Baer 6-piston calipers and huge rotors plus brake cooling ducts. To keep it pointed in the right direction they added Eibach adjustable coil over suspension with adjustable dampers and Eibach sway bars. To make sure the motor is always in the power band they installed a 3.73:1 rear differential.

To make sure it looks as good as it performs the Shelby gang added 20 inch Alcoa Dura Bright wheels, a Supersnake hood with hood pins, a carbon fiber splitter, carbon fiber mirror covers and rocker panels. Shelby Supersnake badging is everywhere. Special Supersnake stripes run down the center of the car and vintage style side scoops are added. Inside the snake, CSM consecutively numbered dash plaque is right underneath the new gauage pod cluster. They embroidered the headrest and center console. Under the hood they installed an aesthetic engine kit and added a CSM consecutively numbered plaque in the engine compartment. There is so much stuff with the Supersnake package I can't even remember half of it.

This Shelby is like some car nut sat down with a clean pad of paper and thought of building the coolest most formidable muscle car ever conceived. Then found some nut to actually build it. How this car even exists in this day and age of strict federal automotive regulations is a mystery to me? But it does and anyone can have one. Ours is not for sale though.
